It depends on what you're going to use it for. I own a Honda Foreman 550 and it's great. It's heavy enough to push things around and to pull things too. It's also great just to tool around in.
With the upcoming election do you have a feeling one way or another on which candidate will be better for us farmers? I've been asking people this and have been getting a lot of different answers.
Great question with some good answers. My cows can go in the barn (it's heated) and they are free to go outside to roam too (fenced in). Making sure they are fed properly and have a continuous water source are also key.
Where do you live? I would say any "winter" vegetable would be okay. So onions, cabbage, squash - that sort of thing. If you plant, let us know how you make out.
I like the answer of buying small or large. If I bought small I would make sure the option to go or buy bigger was there. You don't want to "outgrow" your farm.
This sounds pretty cool to me. We are having a small get together at my farm (friends and family). We do this every year. The kids love it. We really aren't big fans of trick or treating, you just never know anymore.
Are you talking about in a tractor pull or for farm use? I've got a buddy who pulls in antique pulls. He owns 26 Farmall H tractors but only 2 are used for pulling. He bought them for a couple thousand.
I'm excited because it's getting cooler. That means less work on the farm and more comfort foods. So let's talk chili... I like mine spicy but my wife doesn't. I make the chili but I make it mild and add jalapeños and chili powder to mine. How do you like it?
