We don't have to rent, we have a couple of bulls here. We are looking to rent ours out though. I am not sure what we will charge. Good luck, I hope they take after the first attempt.
Awesome news! It was gorgeous this weekend. We worked in our flower beds. I really hope we don't get anymore snow!
Be sure to tell us how your communal garden is.
Yum! We do have fried mashed potatoes. I've added garlic but we have added garlic salt and cheese. I bet they turn out delicious! I might talk the wife into frying us up some too.
We use our 4-wheelers a lot. We do use the tractors too but for tooling around we use the 4-wheelers. We also ride horses around too. We have many ways to get around the farm.
My wife is an accountant so we do everything right here at home. She files our taxes too. This year we are going to look into the many grants that are new to see if any pertain to our farm and expansion.
There is a fairly large auction coming up later in the month. I'm thinking of going to see what they have in the line of small equipment and tools. What are your thoughts on buying from an auction versus buying from an individual?
It's that time of year... the time my children beg to go to our local Tractor Supply store. They have their baby chick's for sale now. Anyone bought any from a store like this?
I love the local sports teams too. We go to a couple games each year (high school).
@BIGRED The Yankees are smoking hot at pitching so far during spring training. Their bats are working pretty good too.
I knew they slept too but I didn't ever think about it. I guess it makes sense.
Are there animals that don't need any sleep?
I often wondered how birds could sit on such small surfaces.
That's pretty funny Rich. I couldn't agree more! They are smart for sure. I think some goats are bossy too (and loud). I do think that they are my favorites on our neighbors farm.
We decided to wait for a bit. We might add some in early fall. We figured we would try to get through our busier time first. We have a couple of empty pens but we figured we should wait.
We have not gotten any of our doses yet. I will when I'm able. We don't qualify yet but I would imagine we will soon. I think they just lowered the eligibility age to be 50.
Cinnamon fermented apples, now they sure sound tasty! I've tried fermented apples but not cinnamon ones. I've never gotten drunk from eating them. They are pretty healthy.
Honestly I think I just read 6 have come forward. I listened to him today and he swears he isn't stepping down. Impeachment will be the only way to get him out of office and out of "power".
That's awesome! They did that last year here and I know it saved a lot of people a lot of money. I wonder how many families go get the free lunches over the summer.
Artichokes would be a great idea @MartyR.
I think berries are a smart choice too. People go crazy here for berries during berry season (all berries). Good luck with whatever new item you choose.
I've never done it but I agree that it would take a few seasons to get it right. It would be fun to try. What are you thinking of putting together? You have peaked my interest.
We raise cattle and horses but we are thinking of adding pigs to our farm. What do I need to know about this? Are they similar or do I need to have a complete different setup?
Now that football is over, I'm ready for baseball to start! Of course the snow has to melt first. I wonder what this year will look like in MLB? I hope they allow fans!
