It’s actually important to always think one step forward, not just for farming, I believe. I usually discuss it with my family. Mostly about the financial part.

I have done some designing work in the past and it was fun. But for the farm, it’s a different task. It’s pretty difficult for me to design. I have tried though. But I feel like it just doesn’t fit.

The best gift for your mother this year is probably to keep a distance from her, honestly... As elder people get infected easier than younger ones. Fortunately I live with my mother, I will cook more dishes that she likes.

The stereotype thing is true. And they don’t understand how important the agricultural industry is. Some educational programs should help, like what Nathaniel has said. But I doubt if people even bother to work on these programs.

If we think positively, we have our gardening skills that a lot of people don’t. We are already quite lucky in a sense, if the worst case scenario indeed happens. I suppose the basics we have in the garden will help us survive for a period at least.

I still need to go shopping for at least once a week. I have already tried my best, honestly. I used to shop for like 3 times a week. But right now I don’t see problems for once a week so far. If the situation gets worse though, I might rethink about my strategy.

I was suggested to own some kind of automatic milking machines but I was thinking shouldn’t it be better to do it manually with your cows or am I just being too traditional?

I was thinking of how to improve the quality of water as it just seems like contamination is a problem with fertilisers and stuff. Should I just reduce the fertilisers I use... this is something I’m thinking of. I am not very sure. I’m not always the one taking care of the farm but I have to...

The size and types are very much depending on the number and types of cows you want to have. Some other things you might also want to think about is having a nice containment system. It’s very important especially because of the dirts that dairy farms always create.
