  1. How Do You Make Barn Spring Cleaning Easier?

Yeah a leaf blower for sure. I"m going to make a note of that myself :)
  2. How Do You Make Barn Spring Cleaning Easier?

I was wondering the same and that is what constitutes spring cleaning for a barn? I did invest in a cheap power washer to make more thorough cleaning of the horse stalls easier. I guess another task that might only be done a couple times a year is pulling out the pallets the hay sits on and...
  3. Barn cats

I wouldn't think so except normal stuff like make sure there's water and some food. Don't know what condition your barn is but I'm assuming she'll find a secluded place to have her babies.
  4. How Deep To Bury Water Line

In Indiana it's 6" below the frostline which puts it at 42" (36" frostline).

  6. Pasture grass not growing

    Got it and thanks again.

  8. Pasture grass not growing

Terrific plan @Ken Sweet . I have the same situation where a couple horses have severely over grazed the field. The challenge I'll have is waiting for the ground to be dry enough to work which generally puts it late spring.
  9. Best method for storing hay?

I stack my square bales on pallets which helps but until I put a layer of plastic on the ground to keep ground moisture down I have the same issue. I also like pallets because it provides a passage for air to flow under the bottom layer.
