Check to make sure the reel is level on both sides. They can get out from time to time. Also, check reel tines, make sure they are not cut off.Hope this helps. I retired my IH flex head and put a green one on, works great.
I have developed a posifeed roller to solve the feeding problem for difficult crops. It is a replacement roller that the front elevator chain runs on it acts as a type of beater to pull crop material into the machine. It is very sucessfull in Australia in all types of crops that are difficult to feed with no disadvantages in all crops. I can now send them air freight if you are interested.
Have been experiencing same problem on my 1020 this year. Dont remember having this problem in past years but bean are very short this year. Know they are not any shorter on right side of platform than left but cannot see anything out of kilter. Came to this site to see if anyone else has had this problem and had a possible solution...
