I have had this heppen twice in the last 2 years (on the same farm, lol) THere is a bolt that goes through the sprocket hub and reel shaft. I don't remember the size. I just had to get an emergency one out of the PU toolbox. 7_16 * 3" or so. look there first.

Had a similar problem last fall and it turned out to be a broken weld on the shaft in the end of the reel. Bought a new shaft assembly. Hope your problem is just a bolt.

Turned out to be the weld. Seems like that must be a weak spot, but it's welded better now.
