stand it up there is no plug

You know I have had deere corn heads in the past and don,t know if they had drain plugs or not. As silly as that would sound We would always check and fill them with cornhead grease but never thought to look for a drain. Papaw

Just be thankful yours doesn't leak the oil out.

There is no drain plug. What I do is I have a vacume that will suck the oil out, then add new to it.

WE HAVE A 863 AND A 1083. HAVE NEVER CHANGED OIl IN EITHER. WE CHECK AND FIll THEM BEFORE THE FIRST DAY AND NEVER lOOK AGAIN. HAD THE 863 FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A GEARBOX FAIlURE YET.
