Combines 1083 drive chains

Well for what it's worth we use Archer Bar oil (Chainsaw) Seems like the other chain oils couldn't keep the chains cool. Hope this helps. Brian

Had my 1083 for 6 years.Oil once a day and never replaced or had any problems. ProbAbly do 70 acres a day average. I got mine on slow sprocket. last 6 row head was 20 years old and I think It could have lasted forever. Bet the new new holland heads won`t be that good!
