Combines 1083 Weight

I can't help you on the weight of a 1083 but I'm curious on the 2062 flex draper. How wide is your 2062IJ I have been looking for a flex draper but cannot find any here in Ontario. Equip. search says that there is a 30' flex draper in southern Missouri but I think it would be a little costly to bring up here. You still hang your hat in south western OntarioIJ Might take a rainy day to come and see your 2062 flex head if that would be possible.

brodale, the 1083 weigh's 4,596ns and the flex draper depending on the size weigh approx 3,830ns for th 30' and 4,425ns for the 36' depending on option's of course. happy harvesting, azcutter

Did you perhaps get it from Don MedlinIJ I thought they had it advertised for 35000 US. We might be talking about the same head. I called him last fall after I priced a new 30' here at Vandenbrinks. Are you mounting that on a 2388 or an 8010IJ I'll see if I can find some time this week to come up and have a look at it before you head out to the field. If possible send some directions via e-mail. Hey Brodale-Red Dog, I talked with Dave at Vandenbrink's recently and they have a 2062-36ft sold new on a 8010 and a used 2062-30ft going on a 2188 for the 2006 harvest.

Are you sure on the 2062-30' on a 2188IJ I know they had a 2020-30' used that was available but I could be wrong it's been awhile since I talked to Dave.

I think the 2062 CNH hd is the same as a 974 Mac-Don, if so a 36'hd weighs a little over 7000 lbs.with the adapter and no slow speed transport wheels, the wheel kit adds another 450 lbs. A 2388 requires the 3rd lift cylinder on the feeder house. We purchased a 36' 974 and are anxious to use it, will be cutting soybeans only pushing it with a 2388.
