Ken, Thats the best thing you can do for down corn because there is little loss from middle rowsjust from the ends. I have never seen a 12-row head so I wouldnt even know whom to ask about it. Good luck, Tom Russell
Update. My dealers mechanic turned up the hydralic pump on my R62 and I can easily lift the head. They told me that they normally adjust the pump to the head size when the combines come in.
