had a 1420 , good little combine , mine had a straw chopper . would try to find one without chopper they were problems on the 1420 you can slow chopper down with a few changes though. slow in grean stem beans about 2-2.5 mph. great in oats and wheat about 4 mph, and about 3 mph in 130 bu corn (4 row headers). easy to change crops as any axial Flow. just right for a few hundred acre farm.

CIH quit making the small rotor xx20 series some years ago, and they are not that common. I would recommend finding a xx60 series machine if you want a Axial Flow machine for better support for OEM parts and aftermarket stuff. A specialty rotor would be better for green stem beans. Crop swap is not a big issue, especially it cover plates are used instead of swapping concaves. Click on the attachments at the left for cover plates and rotors.
