What will do even more good than the cable ties, leave the covers off. That may not be good advice if you have a hired man or some one else around that isn't smart enough to keep their fingers out of places they don't belong, but without the covers on that whole back end stays a lot cleaner.

Yep. We took the covers off of the first 1460 we owned because there had been some fires in our area. Been doing it ever since.
