IHCfarmer: You might try 3_8 opening on lower seive, 1_2 on upper seive, fan at 900, concave on 2 or 3, rotor will vary by conditions. Dry straw will go thru at 5-600rpm but if the straw is green enuf, speeds up to 900 may be in order if she pulls hard and "rumbles" while underway. Use hi side for rotor gearbox. Those settings have worked for me. (This is assuming a standard rotor and fan.) Be sure beater pan is in uppermost position too.

Thanks I will give it a try. O by the way I have been running it with the concaves at 7 and the rotor at 650. I don't think anything has been going out the back. the straw is dry.
