cornman do you raise corn there in floridaIJ I'm kindof semi retiring down there to get a way from trucking corn for the boys in snow and ice and rain, but still do a lot in season. Just wondering about corn there, and how it looks. Irrigated I would imagine. When will harvest start for you etc.

For kicks what kind of shape are they in and any idea what it might cost to get them shipped to this area.

Ive just about quit farming, i custom pick about 1500 acres total of wheat, oats, corn, and soybeans. we finished wheat about a month ago, we pick corn the first week of september, and beans around the end of october. there is a lot of irrigation around ,but most is not, we rely on the Gulf showers mostly. if you decide to move here and need a part time job hauling let me know , my biggest headache is getting it hauled. our wheat ran 50 Bu, corn usually around 90-120 Bu, and beans about 40 bu. where down here do you come toIJ

there older tires off a parts machine but one has had little use, and one has some wear around tread from bean stubble. both hold air. probably would cost more to ship than you would want to pay. what shape are your 23.1 x26 inIJ email me

We go on down a little ways, the town of San Antonio near Dade City. The winter weather up here is begining to bother us some and the sun never shines in the winter time. I probably wouldn't qualify to drive down there. I should of grandfathered in on cdls, as it is we have an ag excemption in Indiana as long as your within 150 miles of registered location. Tandems and triaxels I can back anywhere, but I guess I'm afraid I'd fail the backing test on semi's. Weve got grain storage for 200000+ bushels so Jan and Feb is like grain harvest around here. In good years our corn will be close to 200 bpa and early beans 60 double crop beans close to 50 and wheat 70 all non irrigated. We spend a lot on timeliness. It seems like we never know whether we will have a 10 day window sometime between Apr 1 and June 1 that its dry enough to plant preferbaly early then later. We try to start corn harvest sep 1 and finish all by Nov 1. We are having fits with wheat right now. We have not cut a dry load yet, rain everyday have already dried 25000 bu some of it is 25%, planting double crop in mud. Ain't farmin fun

I am knee deep into replanting soybeans because of all the rain we've had over the last 6 weeks. Also, wheat harvest is approaching so I don't really have time to chase these tires unless they were local. Since mine are practically new I would not swap unless what you had was in mint condition and it sounds like they are not. But thanks anyway.
