Old860, I have owned an 860 and run a 1992 model 1660 a few years back. I didn't notice a whole lot more capacity wise, Personally. But The 1660 was a much smoother running machine, quiet , more "refined" so to speak. Alot of 860 Hydro's run 30' headers and I don't think I've ever seen a 1660 with more than a 25'. I'd say they are close in capacity on a hot dry day of harvesting. Been looking at a few 1660's on the internet for about $35k you can get a pretty descent machine.
