Shouldn't be no problem at all. The 1440 and 1460 use the same engines except for the fact the 1460's engine has a turbo on it. I don't think the power will affect the machine because they are pretty much identical machines.

thanks guys! this helps me alot, yes i plan on keeping the other machine for parts. this should save me a bunch!

Agree with the rest but I would swap the other direction IE.keep the heavier frame and power train of the 1460 and put in the new thrashing components from the 40. Much less work to take out the rotor then the engine. good luck
