Does he get whole cobs or whole cobs broke in halfIJ He should have 6 (2 rows of straight bars on the bar of the rotor. What concaves does he haveIJ I after the 1st with my specialty rotor I installed 15 Gorden Bars. I have a 1660 so it has the concave extension. I run rotor as slow as it will go in corn 260-280.

I agree with the first post. The specialty rotor is designed for green crops like edible beans, rice and now green stem soybeans and to get things in and get them out. For corn it needs more threshing and separation up front. Click "attachments" at the left and then to our host M. Gordon's site for Gordon Bars.

What is the moisture of the cornIJ I suspect he is not driving fast enough. You need to keep the rotor full. Try either going faster or closing the concave a little. Also what position are the transport vanes inIJ
