loaded question. Each has it's place, if you're looking for a manuverable combine then the 1470 is not your animal. These puppy's are huge! and they won't turn on a dime. In our country the people that stay with the 70 series do it because they don't like to chain up to stay on the hillsides(No I'm not kidding). A 70 series is somewhat like being in a tank, it isn't that great until operational condtions get bad. If I were looking to upgrade to a machine with a leveler I would look very hard at buying a good used flatland machine and installing a Hillco system unless you feel that you need the extra 20% leveling that the 70 series offers.
