If this is the original rice_bean rotor with spiralled bars mounted full length, the vines can roll up in clumps and can sometimes carry very quickly thru to the discharge this way, unless the interrupters and kickers(small square pieces and small triangular pieces, respectively, which are mounted on the rotor) are in good enough shape to disrupt the flow of material against the spirals of bars. Essentially this means that they need to be full length with reasonably square edges. These will actually do a better job than disrupters, since they begin the process sooner. It might also be good to install a cover plate under the front 1_2 of the first concave section to suspend pods -- however, the fewer cover plates used, the less chance for damage. Hope this is clear.
