You've got a restriction on the suction side of the pump somewhere! Or your oil level is low. Check filter and even oil itself. Is oil dirty or wrong oilIJ Is filter collapsed or dirtyIJ Is the suction line collapsed or failing (you can't always see this from the outside)IJ One more possibility just came to me though! This system has to know the engine is running to work. It does that by means of an oil pressure switch on the engine. This switch could be faulty at higher engine oil pressures and not completing the circuit to power the electro hydraulics. Does auger swing, reel lift, etc. work at high idleIJ

Thanks for all the possibilities. Oil is clean and grade is ok and level is ok. I will check on the suction line. My question is still why does it work at half throtle. Auger swing at high idle. let me first check everything you have mentioned. Where on the engine is the switch you are talking aboutIJ

Sorry to take so long to reply. I think the engine switch is located on the back side near the bell housing. last time I worked on one of these was a 1480 with an IH engine though. The reasoning behind suspecting this switch is that as your engine revs, the oil pressure rises. It may blow the switch to an open spot at higher pressures.
