Combines 1640 vs MF 850

I run a late model 1440 which should be comparable to an early 1640. My grain table is a 1020 15' and corn head is a 6 row 963. No problem in 70-80 bu wheat running 3 MPH. As long as soybeans are dry, I also run 3 MPH in 40 bu beans. Although I just started corn, which I'm guessing to be over 150_A, I am down to around 2 MPH. Hope this helps!

We've had both a 1440 and a 1460 in the past and a couple of neighbor's have 850 or 860 combines. In beans I think the 40 would at least keep up with the Massey's and the 60 will run circles around them. One of the MF's is owned by our MF dealer who also farms so I would assume it is set up right.

Yesterday I ran some more corn. Now up to 2.5 MPH. My problem is the clean grain elevator .... I think I am over loading it. Again, I'm just starting, but neighbors shelling corn say it is running 180 plus bu_A.
