Combines 1660 clean grain elevator clogging

If by clogging you mean the slip clutch is slipping then you might try something that was commonly done on 14 series. In order toput more pressure on clutch take bolts out one at a time and washer the springs. You might also look into a fast speed sprocket for the clean grain. Both of these were done to my first 1480 and the problem was solved.

Mick, I had the same problem on I believe it was a 1480. I cleaned the grease off the slip clutch (replace if worn),behind the big pulley and installed a smaller sprocket on the leveling auger in the grain tank.
