You can back the two 5_8 nuts and turn them in toward the machine, go about 1_2" to 1" and try that

The top sheaves are adjusted up so that they are already going all the way closed.

On our former machine, we had one of the three bolts inside of the moving sheeve, that came loose and was about a 1_4 inch out. This prevented the pully from getting as small as it should, and added about 200 rpm to out fan. The bolts are between the sides of the pully, you can look in there with a flashlight and tell. It worked for us, good luck.

Do you have cross flow fanIJ Our 1680 had this same problem after coming out of shop spending 5000.oo, an found out during wheat harvest it had the paddle style fan belt put on it, Maybe something to compare, belt part numbers

The belt partn is 1541569C1 which is supposed to be the correct one.
