I had this same thing last fall in our 91 model 1680, i called combine mechanic talked with him, checked several things no find nothing wrong, called him back told him to get in service truck an come, By the time he drove in i was checking batteries for corrosion, like you my feeder reverser worked, But wouldnt turn on, He took side panel off od cab on right side, the plug that couples to header switch had came off, And these couplers do not have the lil saftey latch clasp on them, so i check these at least once a season now
