Combines 1660 oil IJ leak

Theres a hand pump with hyd. lines running to it. Could be a seal in the pump or line seeping. I had column apart but cant remember if you take front or back off (back I think). Remove phillips headed screws and take apart and look. If the seal in the top of the pump is leaking you will have to pull the steering wheel off.Its not to big of a job but fix before a major leak develops. I blew a line once and filled the cab with hot oil. BIG MESS to clean up. good luck.

I'm betting it's a hydraulic hose. I think there's 4 in there. I would replace them all. I had one go out and then another before we even finished the year. Seems like they degrade over time and when one goes, they all need to be replaced. I just went to the local JD dealer and they made the hoses for me. The ends were not quite as compact, but they worked. I think you can just look up under the cab and see the other end of the hoses. Ours dripped on the feederhouse when they leaked.

Thanks everyone! Will have a look, we'll be sitting in the shed until about Tuesday anyhow, had close on 2 inches of rain yesterday.

It's your steering hand pump,the seal at the top of it needs replaced.
