I know this is not a corn and beans test, but one of the last combines tested by PAMI in western Canada was a CIH 1666. Here is a brief part of the test summary that compares the 1666 to the reference II combine, which is a JD 77xx, so this should be some indication as to how your machine stacks up to a 9500. "In the Manley and 1602 barley, the Case IH 1666 had respectively 1.5 and 1.6 times the capacity of the PAMI Reference II combine when compared at 3% total grain loss. The capacity in Hero rapeseed at power limit was the same as the Reference II at 1% total loss. In the wheat tests, the capacity of the Case 1666 was 0.4, 1.3, and 1.2 times that of the Reference II in the Biggar, Katepwa, and laura crops." How is your machine setupIJ Which rotor, chaffer ect. What is the main problemIJ What have you tried to do about itIJ

If you were going to upgrade to a newer machine I would think you would look at Case-IH.There has been so many things improved and enlarged in the last 10 years that it surely would do what you want it too. Ther has been aftermarket parts and accesories that improve performance on your machine also.Go to the Gleaner site and they are still having to upgrade their new machines to make them work. I dont think you would have to do that with a new red combine Just my thoughts,Good luck.
