It may be that the disrupters are forcing the vines thru the separator grates, especially if you have the wider spaced set of grates installed. Drier stalks may be breaking up as they wrap around the disrupters and going endwise thru the grates. I'd suggest removing at least a portion of the disrupters starting at the front grate.

Make sure the rubber paddle on the outside auger is still attached. It is held on with a hose clamp on the auger closest to the shield. Good luck.
