Check your grounds for corrosion.

Have same thing happen on 1688. Check the lead wire coming off your positive post. Clean it, put it back on, problem solved.

I've had problems with the plug and_or sensor on the reverser chain idler sprocket that won't let the header engage or the reverser work. To check, there is a plug (check owners manual, it tells) to bypass this neat stuff, so to continue harvesting in an emergency, in the access panel on right outside of cab. Good luck.
