Combines 1680 CASE IH AIR ClEANER

Take out both air filters and check if there may be something that is partialy blocking the tube where the air comes into the filters. On our 2366 we had corn husks inside the tube that runs from the filter to the outside. There is a wire grate in there that may be restricting the air flow.

Thanks for the advice, but that is not the problem. The 1680 has a pre-cleaner mounted directly above the air cleaner. We have added an extension pipe between the air cleaner and the pre-cleaner to get higher above the dust. This helps , but I believe the air-cleaner is just too small. We have thought of adding another complete air-cleaner in parallel with existing air-cleaner. Has anyone ever tried thisIJ

Thanks for the advice, but that is not the problem. The 1680 has a pre-cleaner directly above the air-cleaner. We have added an extension pipe to raise the pre-cleaner as high as possible and still get in the shed, and this helps quite a bit. We have thought of adding another complete air-cleaner in parallel to the existing air-cleaner. Has anyone ever tried thisIJ
