Combines 1680 Engine swap

Too much torque and power. The drive train is already maxed out and I would expect reliability issues to arise. If you replace with anything else I would suggest the Navistar DT-530 engine at 300 HP from a parted out truck. This a mild increase over what you have and probably wouldn't create drivetrain reliability issues. Another salient benefit is you would have an all IH combine and you could take the CASE name off it.

HAVE A 2188 WITH 8.3l THOUGHT ABOUT IT HAVE A 9150 WITH 10l, 8.3l RUNS 2500rpms no load 10l RUNS 2300 rpms no load would need to reconfigure gear case gears for hydro and separator!! but good thought!!!!!!!
