I never change the spring adjustemnt on my 2188 beater pan. As to the specialty rotor, I've never run one. Someone else will need to answer that.

On the specialty rotor. If the bars are worn down an amount from new it will make a good corn thrashing machine. On one machine my spec. rotor bars are worn down and need replacement. So you may want to slow rotor speed down to 400-460 RPM. JWK
