Combines 1680 meter setting

I would say that anything above 5 on our 1680 would be getting pretty sensitive. I ran the 2188 on 7 most of the time this year, and I'm not sure it was as sensitive as the 1680 on 5. I wonder if the generation of machine effects the settingIJ We had the rotor loss so low on the 2188 that we could set it up to almost 9 when checking it without the chaffer. Are you talking about a long-shoe or short-shoe 1680IJ Mike

I have the short seives and still the paddle fan. On 5 1_2, the meter stays always in the green, but on 6 it bobs between the green and above. Sometimes quite a ways above.
