I'm running a 1992 model with the same setup, I changed the rotor to the new AFX last fall but didn't seem to change anything setting wise, I farm in southern Manitoba so have the same crops but also corn, soybeans, edible beans, I will get my book from the combine today and post my setting later, what combinations of concaves and grates do you use, do you straight combine or swath, do you have lots of straw, our spring wheat last year was 3 1_2 to 4 ft tall and laid down, we had to swath at ground level and crop averaged 75 bu_acre, dockage ran between 1_2 to 3_4 %, the new rotor made the combine a pleasure to drive, no more rotor banging. Also, how is the rear axle setIJ does the machine appear level visuallyIJ Sometimes a machine will come with 18.4x16.1 rear tires and after many wheel bearing failers and splindle purchases the owner change to a narrower taller tire and not change the axle to its appropiate setting. This can but not allways will cause setting problems. Sometimes I use different axle setting to create new settings in certain conditions. If problems continue after you view the posted book settings, do a "quick kill" to shut the machine down full so you can view it as close as possible to how itis when its running in the crop. (an extremely valuable diagnostic tool).
