Combines 1680 steering pump relocateIJ

I think some of the older cotton pickers, 422's maybe, used to have a sprocket on the steering wheel shaft and a chain that ran down inside the column to a sproket on the pump. Kind of like a bicycle chain. The pump was directly under the column. I don't think they had a tilt column though. Don't have any idea how the newer combines are made because, knock on wood, I've never had any problem in there. Good luck.

Take a look at 2100 or2300 steer column the long shaft and coupler, you might be able to convert depending on shaft splines
