Wisconsin Ron, We run large wire every other wire out in n1,n2 and n3 concaves for corn. For wheat we run large wire n1, small wire n2 and n3, all wires in. If you encounter green weeds in wheat a small wire n1 will plug. Good luck.
I use large wire concaves for wheat and corn, but I put 3 cover plates in for wheat. It gives you a good thresh the first time through and you will have a cleaner sample in the grain bin. You will want to use a cover plate that you can change without removing the concaves. (see attachments)
