If you have a specialty rotor, the kicker bars are at the very back of the rotor and have a dog leg shape to them. There are two kickers on an 80 size rotor. They take the material after it gets past the grates and throw it to the chopper. On a standard rotor, which I suspect you have, there are no kicker bars. The separator bars are long, straight bars over the grates and extending to the rear of the rotor.
