Pull every other wire in all concaves for corn then get a set of cover plates for soy, wheat, milo. Works wonders in our old 1480. Really reduces the unthreshed pods. Chads

I have been farming sense i was born and well i grew up with a 1688 with a 10 20 grain head 25 foot long and a 6 row 1063. I am 12 and i love to work on machinery. anyway The men i farming guys sold the farming buisness and we sold the 1688 pretty soon after we put it out on the market(we are selling everything we have). anyway the 1688 was my favorite.i farmed 1,890acres. I hope this gives you an idea. but i farm eyery once in a while when i see someone i know.See ya
