Getting more power from a 1688 is quite easy but a few things should be checked first as a reference point. If you have acess to a guage to measure turbo boost you should be getting approx 22psi boost at full power. Also note what the engine RPM pulls down to. After that assuming the injection pump is operating properly you can turn the fuel up 1_2 to 3_4 of a turn. Then recheck the boost and RPM. Remember fuel consumption will also increase.
