Combines 1688 Purchase

We have a 1994 Case IH 1688 that we used full time, but then got retired and put to emergancy backup use. Its a geat combine, I never had problems other than the grain tank being alittle small, so we put a bish bin on it. We ran a 8 row corn, 25 foot grain head on it. We now run full time a 1998 Case IH 2188.

we run a 94 1688 with a 30' head in wheat and milo and a 25' flex in beans. we have had very few problems they are a nice machine to run infact my wife runs this on most of the time

we run a custom combining operation,we now run 2188 combines we did run the 1688 combines and had great success only problems we had was with the header reverser we found the motor to be short of power,we were able to change them up to a honda gas motor
