For what it's worth I run a 25' draper on a 1688 with AFX rotor this past fall. Had some yields in the lower 70's. Cut on dry ground this fall, average speed was around 4 mph, although I did have few times where I had to pull back because of overloading the motor. There's no rumbling with the AFX rotor to warn you about plugging, you have to watch your rpm's and listen for the motor pulling down. The draper helped with its more even feeding over that of a flex head. The beans were extremely dry (9% to 10%) but still not what I would call easy thrashing.
