I know what you are talking about. The SCH knife system is about the best and econimical replacement system on the market but the wobble box drive arm leaves a lot to be desired. They no longer sell that arm if you buy a new knife for a massey head. They send you about 3 or 4 open top guards so you can use the original Massey drive arm and knife head. I was going to do this modification myself with my 9118 head because I was sick of rewelding the arm every 3-400 acres then I found out that they went back to the MF system that they considered no good. The prodrive system looks great but can you swallow the $2500-3000(Can) price tagIJ I know Honey Bee uses the prodrive on their draper heads with great success. If you saved the arm and knife head off of your original knife you can make the modifications to adapt the MF system to run the SCH knife for next to nothing. Be sure to index the knife or it still won't work worth a s$nt.
