How much would you be willing to let that corn head go forIJ We're switching from a MF 750 to a JD 7720. Got a 220 bean head last year, we planned on just adapting our 1163 cornhead but no one makes an adapter that doesnt have to be welded on. We figure that it wouldnt be worth it to do that since it would then have no resale value. Thats a 6-30 head rightIJ What work has been done to itIJ

The head has always been inside, but the paint is wore off the snouts. It is the high tin model with low acreage. We haven't done any work to it other than servicing. It's not all dented up like some either. 6-28's is what we used it for, but you can adjust it to 6-30's. My dad is the one that owns it and it is his number listed to contact. I have a NH combine and we don't need the 7700 anymore. Give him a call and see what he will do. Thanks!

Thanks...I will run it by my dad and maybe he will give your dad a call on it. We just have to see how other equipment sells. Currently we have 3 MF 750's, 3 1163 corn heads, 2 15 foot bean heads, and one JD 220 bean head. Hopefully we can get it down to just the 750 hydro for a back-up or corn combine while the 7720 finishes soybeans, the 7720, the JD 220 and a JD corn head since we already have a JD head adapter for the MF.
