Combines 1982 l2 Combine assembled in Mexico

We have a 1982 l2 from Mexico and a 1982 l2 from the US. The best ones to get from Mexico were the ones with the serial numbers below 150 because the american engineers were there to help the mexicans build them. The combines are just about the same except for the glass, but my dad put his foot through the botom one once so it payed off for us. It does have to smaller engine but its turbo and Intercooled, its just a more sluggish in corn, but its been a good old machine.

We had an l2 at one time. I'm curious about this split window you guys are talking aboutIJ They also made an l4 in mexico in 1990 to 1992.It had cummins 5.9 engine. Only seen a couple of them in saskatchewan.

Instead of having the bubble glass in the front, it has two separte windows with a bar going across the window where it would normally just be a bending spot for the glass. They also had a square fuel tank.
