We farm 800 acres and run a 1985 l3 and a 1991 R60 orange stripe. If you are going to keep the machine for 15 years I would look at an R62. We are happy with our R60 but I would like to have the newer cab. We only run a 320 flex on the R60 but we really need a 25 foot. It will play with an 8 row corn head in good corn. The l3 we have is an excellent machine but just doesn't have the capacity of the rotor. The Duetz engine is good but if something should happen to it be ready to spend major $$$$.
