Combines 1984 8820 For Sale

We just purchased a 1984 8820 for the 2001-2002 Australian harvest and we paid $82,000 for ours( In butiful condition). And when I convert this into yank $'s it is worth about $38,000. Why are headers so cheap in the USA and why are headers that are old still so expencive in Australia. PS. 8820's briliant headers(Combines in yank words)

sorry to tell you the news if you haven't already heard..but any 8820 is a hard item to sell. At sales they bring anywhere from 5 (yes, 5) grand to something over 12 if like brand new. I don't know why, because they are good machines. You might consider parting it out since you just sunk some money in repairs. Good luck, I also have a 6620 that is not even wanted for a trade. Motor would work great in a truck or pickup, though...
