Well, they started running the elevators from the top instead of the bottom (also belt driven instead of chain) not too long after your model year. Ours is a '93 and is driven at the top. There have been a couple of power increases. In '96, they lengthened the shoe, went to wide spaced rasps on the cyl. bars, and a new style concave. Also increased power this year if I remember right. I'm not postitve, but the bin sizes might have increased early on. We had an orange stripe R50 and for some reason, I want to think the early R52's had the same size bin and then were increased to the current 230 bu. There have been many other more minor improvements that I'm too lazy to look up in my literature right now, but maybe others can think of things to add to this list.
