Combines 2 inch sections for rigid platforms

I have cut rice for years and have used a multitude of different combinations. Seems that the one we finally settled on was three inch over two inch. This worked pretty good. Then I decided to do a test, Using a MacDon 960 25' I set up 5 different configurations of sections. first noticeable wear occured after about 350 acres, using JD sections. To make a long story short... Herschel super sevens came out on top. Bear in mind that we do use a double knife in rice

You mentioned things comeing apart. What are you running the 930 on. If its not on a 9000 series you may have to change the knife drive pulley to get the speed right.
