The easy way would be to see if you could adapt the cable system you have on your F2 to the 315 cutter bar. To switch over to the electric controls you need a Racine 12 volt valve n 08 994482 90, some hoses and hydraulic "T's", a rotary three position switch, a on-off switch and some wire. If the Racine valve is not available you will need a 12 volt dump valve and a one way open center 12 volt valve. It's not that hard to plumb in and do the electrical hook up. I would check combine bone yards for a 3 series combine (an F3 would be best) to get the valves and wiring harness. The harness to run the reel drive was not available last fall from AGCO. Switching over to electric controls for the header control is not that bad of a job but you will have around $500 or more in the parts going new. Post back on what you do.
