Unless you have a Big Shaver header control on your F2 you will have to put hydraulic solenoids on the F2 to run the header control on the 300 header or figure out some other way to use the header control with the system you have on the F2. As far as running the reel a single pole double throw center off switch will work.

If all you want to do is run the reel and do not need the auto header height control, Agco has a kit that cost $80.00. All connectors, switch, wiring, and installation instructions are included.

Thanks for the info. I currently have the valve outside the small window for the head control. How big of a job is it to install the selenoidsIJ thanks

The easy way would be to see if you could adapt the cable system you have on your F2 to the 315 cutter bar. To switch over to the electric controls you need a Racine 12 volt valve n 08 994482 90, some hoses and hydraulic "T's", a rotary three position switch, a on-off switch and some wire. If the Racine valve is not available you will need a 12 volt dump valve and a one way open center 12 volt valve. It's not that hard to plumb in and do the electrical hook up. I would check combine bone yards for a 3 series combine (an F3 would be best) to get the valves and wiring harness. The harness to run the reel drive was not available last fall from AGCO. Switching over to electric controls for the header control is not that bad of a job but you will have around $500 or more in the parts going new. Post back on what you do. I can e mail you the electric and hydraulic hookup info if you need it.
