You get somthing like that you beter have a smaller one also so you can shuttle grain out of that monster because you will get it stuck my 1000 bu has been stuck and we pull it with a 500hp Quad Track!
I don't think that thing was meant to be a cart, it's more of a bulk-wagon for holding grain in the field. I can't imagine that it'll hold up running to and from a combine all day, apart from getting stuck all the time. And what's gonna pull itIJ We use similar things, but only for storing grain for the trucks to fetch, we don't even move them when they're full.
you know, it would work great to park next to the gate and fill it with another auger wagon you could actually pull. If the thing had it's own remotely controlled power unit the trucker could load himself. Might be a pretty good thing. Which makes me wonder why it isn't a lot biggerIJ lots of operations have more than a couple of trucks so this would not be any too big for them. gs
thanks for all the feedback guys. We will be running a 9500 and a 9610 next year, and just purchased 460 mack w_ a tridem. The old gas tandem and 3-ton are shot. We want something we can dump into for quite a while while the semi is gone. Good help is hard to find so chances are the cart would just sit in the field and we would drive to it, so chasing combines with it when almost full is not an issue. That is why we were looking at such a big cart. Maybe a faster auger and a smaller cart would be betterIJIJ Rosco
Theres lots of bins like that here in Australia, we call them "mother bins". The bigest ones hold about 130t and are used as a mobile storage bin, u dont move them with much grain in them.
